Direct Index Club started because I kept seeing “direct indexing” hyped as a wealth management innovation when the concept is just: own the stocks, skip the fee. So I built the tool.

The “vibe coder” thing is real: I code from curiosity. If something feels useful or interesting, I dig in until it ships. Direct Index Club is one of those projects — I wanted to understand ETF replication, so I built a calculator, read the research, and put it online.
